Also known internationally as Blue Buff. Not to be confounded with the Platinum variety in the UK, which stems from another gene, absent in France. Also, it must be noted that “bleu beige” - literally blue buff in French - would be used for “Russian beige” (aa rbrb rr) in the 2000s, creating even more confusion.
